Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka makes the list of the casualties shortlisted by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission just a few days after he had announced his presidential bid .Kalonzo ditched Azimio One Kenya colition after Raila Odinga availed Hon. Matha Karua as his running mate.
The former vice president who announced Narok Senatorial aspirant as his running mate is now facing a blow from IEBC, after being burred from vying for the country’s top most seat. IEBC chairman ,Wafula Chebukati said Wiper leader failed to avail necessary documents on time and not meeting other requirements.
In addition , Kalonzo also missed out the tough IEBC measures ,that includes submission of 48000 signatures from the registered voters in not less than 24 counties.
However, on Monday May 23rd ,wiper MPs and Ukambani proffesionals asked the former vice president to shelf his presidential ambition and back Raila’s camp to avoid putting Kamba people in political cold.
40 other presidential candidates has also been locked out of the race as only 14 aspirants are shortlisted for the nomination process that starts on Sunday 29th to determine those who will appear on the ballot come Aughust 9th general election.
