Deputy president William Ruto has raised key concerns about 9th August 2022 elections, despite showing confidence in Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to conduct free and fair elections.
His artistic consures that, he has set a stage to dispute the results of the general election. The deputy president has claimed the withdrawal of one million of his voters from his strongholds and accused select media stations of biasness in political reporting . The media stations include citizen TV, Inooro and Daily nation that made his list.
The second in command has also accused cabinet secretaries, that is CS Fred Matiang’i, Joe Mucheru (ICT) Eugene Wamalwa (devolution) and Macharia James (transport) for trailing Azimio la Umoja campaigns.
