In a heartfelt plea, Fridah Ongili, the wife of Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, has sought the assistance of AZIMIO leader Raila Odinga in securing the release of her husband, who is currently being held at Wanguru Police Station in Mwea.
“My husband is being held at Wanguru Police Station in Mwea. I went to the gate and I was begging them to see my husband, give him food, and medicine because he wasn’t feeling well. They denied me entry,” she explained in her statement just a few minutes ago.
The situation has become a matter of concern for Ongili, as her husband’s health appears to be deteriorating while in detention. She has expressed her desperation to visit him and provide the necessary care he requires.
MP Babu Owino has been known for his active involvement in politics and various community projects. However, recent events have led to his arrest, leaving his family deeply worried about his well-being.
In the wake of this emotional appeal, many are turning their attention to AZIMIO leader Raila Odinga, a prominent figure in Kenyan politics, to intervene and use his influence to secure Babu Owino’s release. Odinga’s position as a respected leader and his past involvement in advocating for justice and human rights may potentially aid in resolving the situation.
As the plea gains traction, supporters and concerned citizens are eagerly awaiting Raila Odinga’s response to the distressing situation, hoping for a positive resolution and the safe release of MP Babu Owino from custody.
