“My husband is being held at Wanguru Police Station in Mwea. I went to the gate and I was begging them to see my husband, give him food, and medicine because he wasn’t feeling well. They denied me entry,” she explained in her statement just a few minutes ago.
The situation has become a matter of concern for Ongili, as her husband’s health appears to be deteriorating while in detention. She has expressed her desperation to visit him and provide the necessary care he requires.
