FACE MASK DEALERS TO SMILE AGAIN.
Covid-19 not only brought agony to Kenyans and the world at large but at a certain point it helped some of the individuals especially on business sector who found a new venture on dealing producing and selling face masks to get something back home to their beloved families who depends on them.
Traffic jams, bus stations , market places and in any open places where people could gather turned to a business hub to these group of individuals since these were the main places where the targeted customers could be easily found.
The business did but registered good returns until that time when the Ministry of Health through Government of Kenya imposed the mandatory wearing of mask in both indoor and outdoor across the country boarders.
After a long time of this business, things turned upside down to this sector when mandatory wearing of mask was uplifted by the government of Kenya on March 10,2022.
Many of these mask vendors had nowhere to sell their mask and even those who had huge stock of mask were forced to disposed most of them due to lack of customers.
Most of them turned to different Busineses in order to earn a living while those who continued with the business continued to make a big loss as they were forced to sell their stock at acheaper prices because only few people were interested in buying face mask unlike before.
It’s a clear evidence business people in this sector now can smile again after the government imposed mandatory wearing of face mask in confined places like on public service vehicles, aircrafts, supermarkets, market places and places of worship.
The upsurge of new Covid-19 infection in the country with the country recording positivity rate of 12.6 is seen to be a good deal to face mask vendors as many people will now be forced to have their masks on in order to aquire services to these both public and private places.
Different offices across the country will now be forced to make orders for face masks in order to protect their employees while In market places everyone must have their mask on in order to protect their lives.
This is a great deal to many businesses people In the country and many of them will soon turn to their different business areas especially on roadsides to carry on with their busines activities.
This order from the government should last last for sometimes at least those who depends on dealing with face masks can carry on their business for sometimes at least they can earn a living from their daily sales of face mask
