Deputy president william Ruto Sends a strong Message to Handshake Partners over Vote rigging.
Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto has given Kenyans the authority to decide who will be the next President in the coming General Elections. William Ruto said the people have the supreme power to decide who they want to elect and that nobody should decide for them. Speaking in Nyamira town during a campaign rally on Thursday Ruto accused a section of leaders whom he said are planning to rig him out during the August polls.
“We will not accept to be shortchanged by some greedy individuals who are seated in Nairobi hotels trying to manipulate the future of this country,” Ruto said.
The DP appeared to ascertain claims that the Handshake team led by President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga are planning to “steal his votes”. This comes after two deputy president Ruto allied Members of parliment Hon. Oscar Sudi and Hon Didmus Barasa took to their Facebook pages to allege a plot to steal deputy president’s votes sparked tensions among Kenyans, however, he urged the residents not to buy the ideas of the Azimio La Umoja Presidential candidate Raila Odinga saying he lacks agenda.
The DP was on his second-day tour of Nyamira where he woo residents to vote for his Kenya Kwanza team come August general elections where he also insist that kenya kwanza has deliberately initiated a marshall plan that will fix country problems. “It is a national crisis that millions of our skilled youth are jobless, and languishing in poverty. This cannot be business as usual. It must stop. That is why Kenya Kwanza has deliberately initiated a Marshall plan that will fix this problem” said Ruto.
At Nyamira Town in Nyamira County and Marani in Kitutu Chache North, Kisii County, he strongly urged the residents to vote for a PLAN that will transform their lives. Leaders present were Moses Wetangula, Amason Kingi, Walter Nyambati, Ezekiel Machogu, Sylvanus Osoro, Joash Maangi, Mathias Robi, Marwa Kitayama, Shadrack Mose, Vincent Kimose, Charles Njagua, Cate Waruguru, among others.
Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula said their camp are asking for the support of Kenyans as they look forward to change the lives of citizens. “The August election is all about changing the livelihood of Kenyans something that our competitors have not told you about. Avoid that state project and vote Kenya Kwanza to change your lives once and for all because we are winning this election on round one,” Wetangula said.
Other leaders who accompanied the DP who majorly came from the area that said that Ruto has the potential, unlike other candidates, to take the country to the next level in terms of development.
